Compass Garden & Landscape Design
Your garden is an extension of your home, and as such requires plenty of ideas, creativity, and passion to get it just right. Too often a garden is neglected, and this means that your home is not achieving its full potential. Whether you are sitting in the garden on a warm summer’s day or looking out on it from a window as the rain pours down, you want to feel inspired and excited by that outdoor space. You may be looking for a garden in which to relax, to entertain, to provide a play space for children or pets, or to get your hands dirty and enjoy being a gardener; whatever your goals, we can help you to grow your garden vision.
Many initial decisions regarding your garden may seem daunting at first. What size and shape patio should I have? Which plants will grow best in these conditions? Which materials would look best in the surroundings? These are questions that a garden designer can answer, whilst also presenting you with exciting ideas you may never have thought of! At Compass, we focus on outstanding design – in terms of both hard landscaping and planting – in gardens of all shapes and sizes.
Lead designer Tom Murphy has been trained at the exclusive Garden Design School and is a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers, as well as being a trained horticulturalist. He has helped many clients to transform their gardens into the space they want, from developing and improving the planting, to creating a patio, to indeed starting entirely from scratch and building a dream garden.
Our clients love working with Tom, because he really listens to their needs and ensures that the creation of the garden design is a collaborative one. Everyone has their own style, which should be reflected in the outdoor space. From the initial consultation through to the final construction, Tom will be with you all the way as you share and develop ideas.
